Syndicate Bank has introduced a new scheme called ‘Online loan application’ through its website www.syndicatebank.in for covering five categories of loan products, informed the Bank Deputy General Manager Sujir Prabhakar.

Addressing media persons here on Monday, Mr Prabhakar said the new schemes include Synd Vidya, Synd Nivas and Synd Vyapar.

Synd Vidya is an educational loan scheme for students to pursue graduation and post-graduation studies in India and abroad. Synd Nivas is a scheme for housing loans to purchase new and old houses or flats for salaried and non-salaried class.

Synd Vyapar is an overdraft or term loan for existing traders and businessmen who would like to avail working capital term loan.

There are loans for professionals and self employed of Rs 2 lakhs and above and loans for small as well as medium scale enterprises of Rs 10 lakh and above. Professionals include doctors, chartered accountants, architects and such.

Mr Prabhakar said the interested can go through the website and click on the area of their requirement and download the application.

The filled in application can be uploaded simultaneously, he added.
