Big FM launches 39th station in M'lore

 Big 92.7 FM with the catchline ‘Keli kelisi life nimmadagisi,’ launched its 39th station in Mangalore on Wednesday in the presence of Tulu theatre personality Devadas Kapikad, Arvind Jaganvas from Big FM along with Radio Jockies (RJ) Raghavendra, Deepu and Sumesh by flying away 927 balloons across Mangalorean skies.

Mr Arvind Jaganvas addressing a news conference said that Big FM will officially commence its programme on Thursday with a peice of message from Shree Kshethra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade.
He said that the programmes capsuled in BIG FM are designed to cater to the need of all the listener and hence it embraces all essence of life such as devotion, songs, comedy etc.

He said that everyday programmes will commence at 6 am and will be aired till 11 pm. Everyday, the programmes will commence with ‘Suprabhath’, a programme of devotional songs.

At 7 am RJ Sumesh will present ‘Big Kudla’ followed by RJ Raghu who will bring gossips of the silver screen to Kannada film industry to the listeners in his gossip show ‘charmuri’ from 11 am to 3 pm. RJ Sumesh will be back again with ‘Mangalore Bundi’ from 3 pm to 5 pm.

A highlight and the potential strong point for BIG FM could be the programme named ‘Gadbad’ to be presented by theatre icon Devdas Kapikad that assures two hours of rib tickling comedy.

Thereafter till 11 pm, RJ Raghu will mend the broken hearts and listen to the love tales and solve love problems in his programme ‘Love Madi Nodu’.

Devdas Kapikad said that the opportunity that came his way to entertain people through such a big medium is a honour for the entire Tulu theatre itself.
