Around 100 participants from different Under Graduate & Post Graduate colleges across Karnataka participated in a one-day workshop organised by the ICFAI National College on “Modern Trends in Higher Education.”
The Chief Guest, N G Ramesh, Territory Head of HDFC Standard Life Insurance, spoke on bridging the gap between academic delivery and corporate expectations.

The students should be trained and guided to meet the corporate expectations. A lot of interactions need to be initiated between institutes and the employing industries in order to meet the challenges, he said.
