Rangabharana, a city cultural organisation has opened up a well furnished  theatre “Chandrapriya Rangamandira” in KEB Colony, Sanjaynagar in North region of Bangalore city. Sri Datta Vijayananda Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peetha, Mysore formally inaugurated the theatre on Saturday. Rangabharana’s chairman Lakshman said, the theatre would cater to the needs of theatre activities and other art programmes at nominal charges. This AC theatre has a seating capacity of 200.
Rangabharana Prashasthi was conferred upon Kannada film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar on the occasion, while Additional Director of Police Shankar Bidri was also felicitated. Rangabharana’s weekend acting classes were also formally launched by Kannada cine artist Raghavendra Rajkumar.
