‘No COD team has visited our college and none of our students have been questioned by any authorities. The reports about our students being arrested is not true, said HMS education Institution chief and former MLA S Shafi Ahmed.

Speaking to Deccan Herald on Saturday, he said that I wont encourage such anti-social activities in my institution to happen and if such activities ever it happens, I would be the first person to bring it to the notice of the police. I was actually shocked to read the report regarding this in the newspaper’, he added.

Shafi Ahmad also said that he visited the hostel, college and checked out whether the students were missing.

After checking out with the Warden and Principal, I found that no student is missing. All these years, I have been striving towards creating peace and harmony and there is no place for such anti-social activities in my Institution, he asserted.

Meanwhile, Mr Ahmad has written a letter to COD Chief seeking clear picture regarding the issue, he added.
