Nemmadi from the e-governance secretariat in the State bagged silver for outstanding performance in the citizen-centric service delivery category.
Nemmadi is a one-stop shop for delivering various services at village-level. Each Nemmadi tele-centre is offering services like certificates for birth, death, caste and income.
In the innovative usage of technology in e-governance, web-based project management system category, the state Police Housing Corporation (KSPHC) bagged bronze award.
The system developed by the Corporation includes e-tendering, online monitoring of works being implemented by it and money released to contractor to each project.

VAT soft-VAT processing system of Commercial Taxes Department has received bronze award in exemplary best practice in the Horizontal Transfer of Information Communication Technology (ICT) category.
Commercial Tax system adopted this system after the introduction of VAT regime to monitor tax collection and create data base of tax payers. This system was developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC).
The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public grievances and Department of Information Technology in the Central government have jointly selected 24 e-governance initiatives in different states across the country as model citizen-centric e-governance initiatives for adoption by all the states in the country.
