Ajai Kumar Singh, the Director General of Police (CoD) told reporters here on Sunday that the duo had revealed some information during their first narco-test, which will be cross checked once again in view of the breakthrough in the IISc attack case. The duo during the tests have revealed some information about their activities in Hyderabad and also about some Pakistanis who have helped Abu Hamza, the LeT operative from Pakistan, who allegedly masterminded the IISc attack.
The alleged terrorists caught by the Karnataka police recently at Honnali on January 11, this year, were in their initial stage of planning an attack but had not fixed any target. However, well before they could plan, the entire module was busted. The terrorists were also expecting a consignment of RDX.
However, police denied seizure of any RDX from the suspected ultras but admitted that some gelatin sticks and hand granade have been recovered from their possession.
Riyazuddin Naser has not received any training from Taliban leaders but has given some marginal reference about the Afghani outfit, said Mr Singh.
The top police brass denied any arresting students from Tumkur but admitted that Allah Baksh had been arrested in connection with the case.
