BJP, Congress workers’ protest

Bangalore,dhns: The battle for Uttarahalli Assembly constituency between BJP and Congress workers seems to be getting hotter by the day. Sunday witnessed BJP and Congress workers staging protests blaming each other of misuse of power and maladministration.

BJP workers staged a protest near Bommanahalli Circle led by former minister and MLA R Ashok, charging Congress leaders with trying to scuttle development works in Uttarahalli. In Kagallipura, Congress workers led by S T Somashekar blamed Mr Ashok for maladministration during his tenure as legislator.

Errors in test

Bangalore, dhns: The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) on Sunday conducted preliminary recruitment test for 629 Government High School Headmaster posts. About 47,302 candidates appeared for the test in four educational district headquarters - Bangalore, Mysore, Dharwad and Gulbarga. The test comprised two papers - General Studies and Education. According to sources, there were a lot  of faulty sentences and grammatical errors in the papers conveying a different meaning. Moreover, unnecessary English words were used in the paper.
