Tata Steel net stays flat at Rs 1068.58 cr

Tata Steel, on Thursday, reported a net profit of Rs 1068.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1063.75 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, a marginal increase of 0.45 per cent.

During the period under review, the company’s Total Income has increased from Rs 4568.20 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 to Rs 5040.95 crore, up 10.34 per cent.
