Vehicle with Gandhi's message launched
DH News Service, Udupi:
JCI Mangalore and Udupi City launched a mobile van with Mahatma Gandhi's message on it, on the occasion of Martyrs' Day.


The vehicle will cover 50 kilometres a day covering 250 kms of D K and Udupi districts within five days.

Also 250 books of Gandhiji will be distributed free of cost. D K Deputy Commissioner M Maheshawar Rao flagged off the vehicle on January 30 while Dr Vamana Nandavar inaugurated the free book distribution campaign.

JCI Mangalore President Manjunath D, Secretary Sheshagiri, Treasurer Sanath Kumar, Former President Vijaya Vishnu Mayya, Former Zone President Aravind Rao and others participated in the campaign.
