Former minister H Vishwanath has said that he is ready for debate on his controversial autobiography ‘Halli Hakkiya Hadu’. “It is not written with a purpose to demoralise anybody,” he reiterated.
Addressing reporters after participating in a convention organised by the district unit of Karnataka Pradesha Kurubara Sangha here on Thursday, he said let people comment only after reading the book and let there be a healthy debate instead of creating any unnecessary controversy.
The book only exaggerates the political functioning of former chief minister S M Krirshna and his pro-people initiatives, he said and added that the book had been sent to artiste B Sarojadevi and and was available in market too.
Dilemmas of a politician, excellence in administration and response to people’s woes have been explained in the book. Let people discuss about them too, Mr Vishwanath said.
Shivananda Puri Swamiji presided over the function. Pradesha Kurubara Sangha President Raghunatharao Malakapure, Executive President K B Shantappa, General Secretary K M Ramachandrappa and Treasurer R Ramakrishna, Kodagu district unit General Secretary C K Udaykumar among others were present.
