In a bizzare incident occurred here on Wednesday night, a garage worker killed his friend by asaulting him with a iron rod and surrendered before police.

One Subrahmani (25) from Udaynagar murdered his own friend Jagadish (38) from Manganakadu, who was working in a garage at Balagadi near the town, on the way back to the latter’s house.

Ms Saroja, the wife of the deceased has complained in the police petition that Subrahmani used to quarel with Jagadish for Rs 15,000, which was due to be returned from him, but both were good friends too. The dead body was found beside a fence along the way linking Balagadi to Manganakadu. The head had got severe injuries with an iron rod. Koppa police have registered a case.
