Watch and clock fair begins in City

The India International Watch and Clock Fair- Samaya Bharati 2008 organised by Trade Post was inaugurated on Thursday at Sree Kanteerava Stadium.


 According to Mihir S Kharod, the Editor-in-Chief of Trade Post, ‘Samaya Bharati 2008’ aims to rock Sree Kanteerava Stadium magnetising all those connected to the horology sector especially the watch and the clock connoisseurs. Around 70 watch and clock companies like HMT, Timex Group India ltd, Citizen, Police, Ajantha Group and other major brands are participating in the fair.

The ceremony was inaugurated by M V Rajashekaran, Union Minister of State for Planning. Industrialist A V Kamat of HMT was happy that the Trade Post had organised the fair in Bangalore. The fair is open to all and is on till February 3. Entry is free, sources said.
