A gang thieves who were preparing to attack their next target were caught by Police who were on night patrol on Friday night.
Police Sub Inspector Musthaq Pasha and team were on night patrol in Krishnapuram and BEML road when they saw a Tata sumo standing near John Velle house at around 2.45 am in the morning.
Suspecting a foul play police personnel took them in to custody but taking advantage of the night one person escaped while police nabbing two people. The gang usually made single and lone housed their target.
The duo, Manjunath (19) and Ravi (19) are residents of Gangammanapalya in Bangarpet and Bhuvanahalli.
Police have recovered lethal weapons from the thieves along with a Tata Sumo. But thieves have faked the number plate of the sumo. The thieves have been sent to judicial custody and further investigations are being carried on.
