LIC launched health insurance plan ‘Health Plus’ here on Monday.
Addressing a press meet, Udupi division Senior Divisional Manager Surendra Behra said the plan combines health insurance covers for the entire family (husband, wife and children), hospital cash benefit and major surgical benefit along with ULIP component designed o meet domiciliary treatment related expenses for the insured members.
He said the premium can be paid in yearly and half yearly modes. Monthly mode is available for ECS payment. The maximum cover ceasing age for the plan is 65 years.
Mr Behra said the waiting period for the benefit is 180 days. However, in case of accident, there is no waiting period.
