Complex surgery performed
The cardiac surgeons of A J Hospital in Mangalore performed a rare complex cardiac surgery to a 19-year-old female patient on January 30 successfully.
According to a press release, the patient was suffering from multiple disorders concerning heart and blood vessels, which were all corrected with a single 8 hour long open-heart surgery. The patient had to pay the bill of only medicines and consumables. She is currently recovering at the hospital and is awaiting a permanent pace-maker.
