RP Singh reports at NCA
India left-arm seamer RP Singh reported at the National Cricket Academy on Monday for his fitness assessment, reports DHNS.
The Uttar Pradesh bowler, who suffered a hamstring injury during the course of the fourth and final Test against Australia in Adelaide, had to fly back home and was replaced by Maharashtra seamer Munaf Patel for the ongoing one-day tri-series. Munaf himself had undergone a fitness rehabilitation a month ago at the NCA.
RP had a session at the gym, monitored by strengthening and conditioning coach Paul Chapman and physio Paul Close. RP is expected to be train till Sunday.
Bharath Matha, Young Guns draw
Bharath Matha drew with Young Guns 1-1 in BDFA’s ‘C’ Division football league at the IISc ground in Bangalore on Monday.
Vikas put Bharath Matha ahead in the first minute. Bidappa equalised for Young Guns in the 69th minute.
Corporate sports festival
Interaction Events Group will conduct the second edition of their corporate sports fest on April 5 and 6 at the PESIT grounds.

Fitness trainers course
The Level One course for fitness trainers got under way at the National Cricket Academy on Monday, reports DHNS.
The trainers consist of representatives from South and West Zones. The resource panel consists of NCA trainer Paul Chapman, Dr K Suratwala, physio Paul Close and Rohit Wagh. The course will last till till February 15.
