Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State. Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Kolar 6; Thondebhavi (Kolar dt) 5; Srinivasapura (Kolar dt) 4; Challakere (Chitradurga dt) 3; K.R. Sagara (Mandya dt), Gowribidanur (Kolar dt), Parashurampura (Chitradurga dt), Koratagere (Tumkur dt) 2 each; Ramanagara (Bangalore Rural dt), Tiptur (Tumkur dt), Bangalore City 1 each. Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and changed little over North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and remained normal over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. Belgaum AP recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14.8 Celsius over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Wednesday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur isolated places over Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Kolar, Tumkur, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban Chikmagalur, Hassan, Kodagu districts. Mainly dry weather will prevail over remaining districts of the State.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
