Backward Spelling Bee

The Finals of the backward spell Bee...a ‘first-of-its-kind’ inter-school competition will be held on February 16, 2008 at St. Charles High School (ICSE) auditorium, Kammanahalli Main Road (Close to Jal Vayu Vihar). The event is being coordinated by Au-to-Zu for u, the ‘creative’ student-community (www.autozuforu.in) that conducted ‘Namma INDIA @ 60’ under the ageis of Deccan Herald.

The finals will witness 500 finalists from Std 5 to 10 of various member-schools of Au-to-Zu for u in Bangalore East competing for top honours. Apart from these finalists the event is also thrown open to students of other schools who wish to participate. Entries for the final round will be through individual schools for students of 5th to 10th purely on a first-come-first-served basis. No entry fee. Leadership workshop

Dream A Dream, a non-profit working to empower children from vulnerable backgrounds and I Think I Have A Solution (ITIHAS) a non-profit consulting and service organisation, in association with Dr Vivek Mansingh are presenting, “Leadership for Organisational and Personal Success”, for aspiring business managers and leaders to be held at The Taj Gateway, Residency Road, Bangalore on February 16,  2008.

The registration fee per participant will be Rs. 10,000. All proceeds collected from the workshop will be donated to Dream a Dream (www.dreamadream.org), an NGO working with children from vulnerable backgrounds.
