Speaking at a press meet here on Wednesday, he said Central Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman M Veerappa Moily will inaugurate the conference, while DCC President B Ramanath Rai will preside over the programme. AICC Other Backward Class Cell Chairman K C Lenkha will release a booklet on government programmes and projects. KPCC Backward Class President Umashree will honour Backward CLass leader Late Devaraj Urs. MP B Janardhan Poojary will felicitate Backward Class leader and freedom fighter K K Uchil.

The chief guests of the function include former DyCM Siddaramaiah, State Backward Cell in-charge V S Kavi, former minister Kagod Thimmappa, former MP Vinaykumar Sorake, MLC K C Kondaiah, KPCC general secretary H N Prem Kumar, MLC Veeranna Mattikatti, former minister Vasanth Salian, former MLAs  Abhay Chandra Jain, Vijaykumar Shetty, U T Khader, K M Ibrahim and others, he added.
