The Dubai-Mangalore-Kozhikode flight belonging to Air India Express which was grounded at Bajpe airport on February 3 after a bird hit the engine of the aircraft, will be ready for take off on Thursday, according to sources.
“A peacock had hit the engine of the aircraft while landing on February 3. A team of engineers have been repairing the snag and the aircraft will be ready for take off by Thursday,” it is said.
