The half day Mudigere bundh call given by the Sachetha Yuva Sangha was successful.
The bundh call was given for urging the authorities to rectify the problem of improper supply of LPG. All the businessmen had closed their business establishments in support of the bundh. However, schools, colleges, offices, banks functioned as usual.
The protestors burnt the effigy of a LPG cylinder and submitted a memorandum to the Tahsildar.
They warned of holding taluk bundh and road block on February 27, if the authorities fail to solve the problem by February 26.
