Students of Kolar Government Women’s College on Wednesday gheraoed the College principal and staff for the delay in the issue of marks cards.
Although some students had completed their degree, they were yet to receive their marks cards for the fourth semester. The delay has been caused by the former principal and the clerk concerned.
The BSc (biotechnolgy) students who are appearing for the final examinations, they are yet to receive the marks cards of second semester examination for which they appeared two years ago.
The students alleged that while on the one hand there was a delay on the part of the college, there was also a delay on the part of the Examination division of the University. There are 2,000 students in the college of which about 700 to 800 students have not received their marks on account of which they are facing difficulties. The college had also failed to pay the revaluation fees to the University in time, they alleged.
