Computerisation process has been initiated at all City RTOs and when completed it will ensure better service to public, Transport Commissioner Lakshminarayana has said.

Speaking at a function organised by Advocates’ Association here for issuing learners’ licence and drivers’ licence to advocates, he said that in all, 510 LLs and 42 DLs were issued.

“If groups like lawyers, engineers or doctors can hold similar events, we are willing to issue licenses for them too,” he said. HC judge K L Manjunath lauded this initiative by the Transport Department.
