The annual rathotsav will be held at the historically renowned Kalaseshwara Swami Temple on February 17.
The rathotsav was started by offering pooja to Lord Ganapathi and ankurarpane on February 11. However, various religious rituals and celebrations will continue till February 17, informed Temple Managing Committee President T V Venkatasubbaiah. Harikeertane and Yaskshagana will be organised on February 16, 17 and 18. The Mahan Rathotsav will be held on February 17 after 10 pm.

Entrepreneur from Kalasa, K K Balakrishna Bhat, has arranged for drinking water supply, while Krishna Shetty has dug a well for Girijamba Temple. G Bheemeshwar Joshi from Horanadu has donated Rs 6 for the reconstruction of the dilapidated dwajasthamba of the temple. A yaga hall, dining hall and rajagopura will be constructed in the temple premises, Mr Venkatasubbaiah added.
