Cater-act tomorrow

Moti Mahal College of Hotel Management in Mangalore will be organising their annual food festival Cater-act 2008 on the poolside of Hotel Moti Mahal on February 16. Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, College Principal Prof Abhijit Mukherjee said that the fest will be inaugurated by Charles Verghese, Manager of Gold Finch Hotel in the city.

The food festival will feature various Indian and international cuisine including certain inventions of the college students. There will be different Tandoori items, a separate carving counter and so on. The cost of each item will not be more than Rs 35, Mr Mukherjee said.

A major attraction of the fest is the music by DJ Praveen Nair, winner of the War of DJs in 2006. There will be a separate dancing floor for ladies, a laser show and on the spot competition for guests.

Mr Muhkerjee added that around 3000 guests are expected and that the ticket rate is Rs 75 per head.
