Preparations are on for the Janandolana Meet of the Congress party and the Chikkaballapur district Congress party workers meeting will be held on Friday 15.

Important meet

The meet is being given a lot of importance in view of the forthcoming elections to be held in the State. It is for the first time that the Central and State-level leaders will share the platform.

Instill enthusiasm

The programme aims to instill enthusiasm among the workers, clear groupism, chalk out new plans for the future.

As many as 30,000 people are expected to take part at the meet. The meet will be held at the Nandi Ranga Mandira.

A huge stage has been set-up and seating arrangements have been made to accommodate about 20,000 people.

Banners, cut outs and pamphlets are seen throughout the City.

KPCC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Union Minister K H Muniyappa, MP R L Jalappa, District Congress President Bissegowda, leaders Oscar Fernandes,

Margaret Alva, Siddaramaiah, Ambarish and several leaders will take part in the meet.
