RJD president and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav broke heart of his wife and former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi on Thursday when he refused to acknowledge the Valentine’s day wishes offered by latter saying the couple has turned grand old.
“Bhelentine… Aare woh samay paar kar gaya. Hum dono boodha boodhi ho gaye hai aab. (Valentine…Those days have gone now. Both of us have become old now.),” said Lalu in his quaint Bhojpuri accent when he was informed by mediapersons that his wife Rabri Devi has wished him on the occasion.
Earlier, Rabri Devi, who was in the state capital to address a rally organised by the Jharkhand unit of Rastriya Janata Dal, played tough when asked to wish her husband on Valentine Day. She, however, succumbed to the pressure and wished her husband.
