Guv convenes MPs meeting
Governor Rameshwar Thakur will chair a meeting of all MPs of the State, both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, on Friday at 11 am at Vidhana Soudha.
The meeting has been convened to discuss the pending proposals before the Centre and development activities in the State.
Consumer cases to be addressed
The Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission will conduct `State Commission Sittings’ on every Tuesday and Thursday of the week, during forthcoming summer vacation between April 21 and May 25, 2008.
KPSC announces marks
Karnataka Public Service Commission has published the marks of 104 posts of Assistant Executive Engineers’ Examination held in December 2007 on the notice board of the office of the Commission at its Head Office, Bangalore and also at its Regional Offices at Mysore, Belgaum and Gulbarga and also published in the Commission’s website http://kpsc.kar.nic.in
The candidates who are likely to apply for re-totalling for the same within February 28 can do so by sending requsitions with a fees of Rs 50 for each paper.
Vice president appointed
The State chief of JD(S) Merajuddin Patel has appointed R Balaji as the vice president of the Party. While appointing him as vice president Patel expressed hopes that he would strengthen the party.
Entrance exams on June 1
The Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun will conduct its entrance test in Bangalore on June 1 and 2, 2008, for admission to VIII standard for the year 2009.
