On the eve of Valentine’s Day, these two youth who stole motorbikes to impress their girlfriends by taking them for a ride on the stolen bikes were caught by the police. The accused Afsar Pasha (21) and Mohammed Aziz (20), residents of Bommana-halli and Wilson Garden, used to lure school girls in Lakkasandra and Wilson Garden areas by taking them on bike rides.

With the arrest of the duo police have recovered 10 two-wheelers worth Rs 4 lakh which they stole at Mico Layout, Tilaknagar, Adugodi and Wilson Garden during the last four months.

According to the police, the accused used to have duplicate keys to unlock the bikes and then change the number plates before they went for the joy rides. They used to take the school girls  to various restaurants and malls apart from zipping them across the city roads.
