The traffic was effected for a while in the city due to the protest carried out by the workers.

B Suresh Gowda who lead the protest said that government by raising the price of the petrol and diesel has burdened the common people.

Taking a dig at the UPA government he said that the hike is unscientific as there were other ways to follow. The rise in price is just another anti-people policy of the UPA, he alleged.
