During the inauguration of the new temple, along with the consecration, Kumbabhisheka mahotsav, religious functions and mass mariage were also conducted successfully.

In this three-day programme more than 30,000 devotees from the district and other parts had participated.

All the religious heads, leaders from various political parties in the district, litterateurs and artistes also participated in the programme.

In the evening various cultural programmes had been arranged.
