A national conference on ‘Indian infrastructure - Challenges and opportunities’ will be organised by SDM Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research at SDM conference hall on February 16, informed SDM College of Business Management Principal Dr Devaraj K.

Speaking at a press meet, he said Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade will bless the occasion while NMPT Chairman P Tamilvanan will inaugurate the conference. Karnataka Bank Ltd Chairman and MD Ananthakrishna will preside over the function.

The conference will include four technical sessions, wherein eminent personalities including MSEZ Ltd MD and CEO I S N Prasad, MESCOM MD Sumanth, Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India, Expert Committee Vice-Chairman M M Kamath and Mangalore Airport Director M R Vasudev will present papers.   SDM Education Society Vice-President D Surendra Kumar will preside over the valedictory, while IDBI, Mumbai Executive Director B Ravindranath will be the chief guest. An entertainment programme will be presented by saxophonist Sindhu Bhairavi and troupe.
