The state-level conference on Economics will be jointly organised by the Mangalore University Economics Association and St Aloysius College at St Aloysius College auditorium on February 16. The theme of the conference is ‘Development of Coastal Karnataka: Possibilities and problems’. Central Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman M Veerappa Moily will inaugurate the conference.

Mangalore University Faculty of Arts Dean and Professor of Economics Dr G V Joshi will deliver the key-note address, while St Aloysius College Principal Rev Fr Swebert D’Silva S J will preside over the conference. KCCI former president John Prasad Menezes and Primacy Industries Ltd President V K Talithaya will be the resource persons.
