Demolition date

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will begin demolition of the police quarters at Ulsoor and  BBMP health centre on Old Madras Road  from February 6, said BMRC Managing Director V Madhu.
 Commenting on the SC ruling  about the land at NGEF  he said, “We have requested the state government to move the High Court  to implement the SC ruling.  We will begin to acquire land and construct the station after that comes through.”

New branch

The Karnataka Bank opened its 416th branch at Nelamangala. Bank chairman Ananthakrishna inaugurated the branch. Former minister Anjanamurthy, directors - D Surendra Kumar, Jairam Kimmane and S R Hegde  were present.
