Photographer Bhaskar will be conducting a workshop in the city for those who want to take up photography as a recreational activity. Bhaskar has been pursuing photography of a more creative nature like working in the creative medium of black and white. Tribal cultures, rural lifestyles, beautiful landscapes and exploration of less travelled areas of India like Meghalaya have formed the fulcrum of his work.
Bhaskar’s workshop called ‘Photoscool’ for beginners will be for a duration of six-seven hours and will be conducted for two days. The workshop will be held at Centre For Film and Drama, 5th Floor, Sona Towers, Miller Road, Vasanthanagar.
The first workshop will start on March 1. During the workshop, the participants will be taught various aspects of basic photography such as the features, operations and technical aspects of the camera, manipulation of camera mechanisms and photographic methods to achieve desired results. Special emphasis will be laid on developing and polishing creative abilities of the participants. Photography of both kinds, that is film and digital, will be taught. The participants need not bring cameras or film. For details call 98450 19719.
