South Kanara Physiotherapy Teachers Association will organise Physio Week 08 and All India Physiotherapy Students conference between February 3 and 8.

Addressing a press meet here on Saturday, Association President Dr Susan Verghese said there will be physio treasure hunt bike rally on February 3. The rally will be flagged off by DC M Maheshwar Rao at Sri Devi Physiotherapy College in Ballalbagh.

There will be blood donation camp on February 4 at Wenlock Hospital. SP Sathish Kumar will inaugurate the camp which will be attended by 100 students.

As part of the Physio week, fruits will be distributed at the Wenlcok Hosptal, Old age homes and other rehabilitation centres. ZP Chief Sucharitha Shetty will inaugurate the programme. The Association will also be organising a pre-conference court at Dr M V Shetty College, Kavoor on February 6. Kannur University former VC Prof Abdul Rehman will inaugurate it.

All India Physiotherapy Students conference will be held on February 7 which will be inaugurated by Indian Association of Physiotherapists Dr Ali Irani. A pre-conference Shobha Alva memorial lecture will be held on February 8.
