Intelligence expo on Feb 9
Bangalore, DHNS: GEAR Innovative International School will conduct a ‘Multiple Intelligence Activities Exhibition,’ on February 9 at its campus on Sarjapur Road.

CBSE chairman Ashok Ganguli will inaugurate the exhibition.

The day long exhibition, commencing at 10 a m,  will feature more than a hundreds activities displayed for the parents and children.

School principal M Srinivasan said, “In this method, teachers create activities and use them in the class to explain the concepts. The activities will be used for children as young as two-and-half years to 16 years. The activities designed by the teachers will be displayed at the exhibition,” he added.The objective of the exhibition is to make the parents understand what goes on in the school and support the children at home.

Japanese speech contest
 The Third Japanese Speech Contest, Bangalore Division organised by the Bangalore Nihongo Kyooshi-Kai (BNK) and the Department of Foreign Languages (Japanese) Bangalore University was held on February 3. The topics selected by the contestants were ‘How about going on adoption’, ‘TV an addiction indeed’, ‘Never give up on one’s dreams’ and ‘Hiroshima city always an inspiration to all’.
