Despite price band revisions
Investors fight shy of IPOs  
Even after downward revisions in the price band by domestic corporates in their initial public offerings (IPOs), investors in the primary market have not shown much of an interest to subscribe, leaving not much scope for promoters.
PC sales seen touching 72.5 lakh units in H1  
Driven by increase in laptop purchase at homes, 32.8 lakh personal computers were sold in the first half of the current fiscal with the industry expecting to sell almost 40 lakh units in the remaining six months.
IMF sees Indian economy growing at 8.75 per cent  
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected the Indian economy to grow at a rate 8.75 per cent this fiscal on the back of rising productivity and investment.
Bose Corporation shuts Blore R&D arm  
Acoustics management products maker Bose Corporation India, on Tuesday, said lack of skilled engineers forced the company to shut down its research and development operations in the country last year.
Lenovo U110 India debut in April  
Lenovo, which recently showcased its 11-inch widescreen display and red aluminum alloy top cover U110 laptop at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show, is planning to introduce it in the Indian market in April 2008.
