Within a month of crossing the 15 lakh connection mark, Tata Sky on Tuesday announced a steep 50 per cent reduction in its hardware price to Rs 1,499. This move, combined with the recent introduction of attractively priced subscription packages (starting at Rs 200 per month), helps the company makes digital quality television viewing possible for every family in India, a company statement said.Tata Sky has also announced its plan to launch its high-end Personal Video Recorder (PVR) this year.
