The District 7th Kannada Sahithya Sammelana Welcome Committee has decided to hold ‘Kannada Nudi Mudi’ programme on ‘Horekanike’ model.

A preparatory meet was held on Monday at the Seva Shakari Bank under the presidentship of Welcome Committee President K S Ravindra Kukkadige where it was decided to form a convening Committee to look at the collection of commodities and eatables required for the ‘Annadasoha’ to be held during the sammelana. The meet agreed and considered the request of the public to hold seminars which will complement the topic of ‘conservation of forest and nature’ as the nature which was once the inspiration for great poets like Rashtrakavi Kuvempu, Dr Shivram Karanth and Tejaswi is slowing vanishing.

Food, ‘Samanvaya’, ‘Mantapa’, ‘Utsav’, finance, publicity, registration and other committees were set up at the meet.
