The protesters alleged that the college is not providing any concession in the fee for students belonging to SC/ST and Minority groups. Adding to all these, the college authorities have been collecting Rs 350 for smart cards and have not yet provided them. The students are blackmailed if at all they enquired about it, they added.
SFI State leader M P Munivenkatappa who spoke urged the government to take strict action against the college for the irregularities happening and the injustice being meted out to the students.
Student leaders K Satheesh, Lakshmana Reddy, Ravi, Nagesh, S P Srikanth, Achyuth Kumar, Ankush, Anitha, Geetha, Archana, Srikantha Reddy, Saritha, Kavitha and others were present.
