'BJP will emerge winner'
DH News Service, Tumkur:
Former minister and BJP leader K S Eshwarappa called upon the BJP workers to strive hard in the taluk to ensure the victory of the BJP in Bellave constituency.

He was speaking at a public meeting of the booth-level BJP workers, at Chelur in Gubbi taluk, here recently.
Mr Eshwarappa said, it was the responsibility of each and every worker to ensure that the programmes of the party reached the public. In the last 20 months, all the programmes undertaken by the BJP, for the welfare of the public, can be effectively promoted by the BJP workers.

Awareness
They should visit each and every house and explain about all these programmes undertaken by the party and also seek their votes to ensure that the BJP won with a majority. The workers should take up awareness programmes in each and every village.

In the last 20 months, the BJP has implemented several important projects and has ensured members belonging to all the strata were benefited from it, including the farmers, widows, elders, unemployed etc. Apart from the projects which focussed on providing basic amenities like roads, drinking water, etc, the party has strived to implement a lot of welfare programmes, he added.

Whether the delimitation of the constituencies took place or not, there were no doubts that the BJP would come to power in the next elections, he predicted.

There were no doubts that the people would support their party. Mr Yeddyurappa will be elected as the chief minister and thus, the State will be blessed by a good leader, he said.

Congress’ agent
In the present circumstances, the Governor was behaving like an agent of the Congress party. None of the useful programmes are being implemented in the State, he criticised.

Mr Eshwarappa said, the elections will be held in the month of May and the party workers should be prepared for the elections, from now itself. They should see that the the party leaders won the elections, he appealed.

MP S Mallikarjunaiah inaugurated the meet. BJP District President K S Kiran Kumar also spoke on the occasion. C V Mahadevaiah shared his views and various BJP leaders like Ramalingaiah were present on the occasion.
