Two persons commit suicide
Bagepalli, DHNS: Two persons died by consuming poison on the outskirts of Ramaswamipalli village on Wednesday in the taluk.

Subramani (35) and Jyothi (30) are the two deceased. The two were in love with each other, it is said.
Subramani, a married man had left his wife and was staying with Jyothi 15 days ago. The incident came to light when the neighbours saw both of them lying dead in their house.

However, the reason for both killing their self is not known.

Bagepalli police have registered a case andfurther investigation regarding the case is going on.

150 litres of illcit liquor raided
Kolar Gold Fields, DHNS: The excise department officers who raided an illicit liquor unit on the outskirts of the
Kolar Gold Fields have seized 150 litres and 125 packets of illicit liquor recently.

The officers also arrested Balakrishnappa (45).

Balakrishnappa is said to have selling the illict liquor produced in various places such as Balamande, Boodikote, Bommaganahalli also.

Circle Inspector L Chavan, Inspectors Vajramatti, Vanajakshi and staff were present in the raid.

The raid was held under the  guidance of Excise department DySP L A Manjunath.
