A workshop to discuss the problems and conservation of mangroves was inaugurated on Thursday in the city at the premises of the Institute of Wood Science and Technology. Recommendations that emerge from the two-day workshop will be part of inputs for strategic planning at the centre and states, said director, IWST, Suresh Gairola.
