The arguments by the plaintiffs, for the objections raised by the Puttige Math Advocate Sripathy Acharya on the three appeals for which they had sought court’s intervention to restrain Puttige Seer from ascending the Paryaya Peetha and also restricting him from performing Krishna Pooja inside the sanctum sanctorum, have been done.
Two devotees Nagraj and Harish claimed their right to file the suit on behalf of Lord Krishna devotees against the Puttige Seer. They also maintained that the Seer performing the rituals to Lord Krishna will create public nuisance and sought a permanent injunction refraining the Seer from ascending the Paryaya throne and performing the rituals. Arguments were done from Puttige math Advocate Sripathy Acharya for the two appeals and he has prayed for the postponing of the hearing for the third appeal that is issuing the permanent injunction against the Seer. The hearing has been postponed to Thursday.
