Block Education Officer S G Nagesh has informed that the children’s census  will be taken up during January 21, 22 and 23 across the taluk.
In a press release, Mr Nagesh informed that in this regard teams have been formed under the presidentship of Tahshildar including the Cluster Education Office resourcepersons and officers from the taluk who will visit each and every home in all the residential areas in the taluk and manually conduct census.
He said that the department has directed the teachers of all the aided and unaided schools to participate in the census. On January 16, 17 and 18 II pahse of examinations for Class 5 and 7 will be conducted by Karnataka Quality Assessment Institute for which valuators have been deployed.
The clusters were the II phase of examinations will be held are as follows: Mudigere (Town), Makonahalli, Bellor, Gowdahalli, Halike, Falguni, Herebail, Kalasa, Samse, said Mr Nagesh.
