To bring out the true faces of BJP- JD(S) who were responsible for the President rule in the State, DCC will organise Congress convention on January 19, said DCC President B Ramanath Rai.
Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday, he said the convention will be held at Nehru Maidan. More than 50,000 party workers are expected to take part.
He said “there is no difference of opinion among the party leaders in the district. We will welcome Vasanth Bangera to Congress.”
As a preparation for the convention, Block party workers meet will be held on the following  places. January 11 at Sullia (10.30 am), Puttur (3 pm), On January 12 at Kadaba (10.30 am), Uppinangady (3pm), Vittal (5 pm). On January 15, Belthanday (10.30 am), Bantwal (3 pm), Gurpura (5 pm). On January 16, Panemangalur (10.30 am), Moodabidri (3 pm), Mulki (5.30 pm).
