ITC announced the city level winners of the Young Author Contest for Bangalore. This year there were over 23,000 students who participated from Bangalore alone. Three students in each category were chosen as winners at the city level.
In the Young Author contest, Akshata S Mattamari MES Vidyasagar School, Nealufar M from New Public English School and Megha V from Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir School won the first, second and third positions respectively. In the Young Artists Contest, Vinita J from St Lourdes English School, Madhu M from Premier High School and Akshita N from Pine Woods High School were the three winners.
The city level winners will be further evaluated and 16 National finalists will be chosen from amongst the young authors to participate in the national finals which will be held in Mumbai between January 17 and 19.
