Traffic to be hit on some roads
Traffic movement is likely to be affected on Khoday Circle, Anand Rao Circle, Seshadri Road, Gandhinagar 1 main road, Central College Road, Palace Grounds Road, Mysore Bank Circle, Maharani’s College Junction and Basaveshwara Circle on Friday from 11.30 am as Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha is taking out a protest rally on these roads.
The Sangha is demanding solution to the sugarcane growers’ problems. The rally will conclude at Banappa Park. Public are requested to co-operate.
Underpasses by Jan-end
‘Pre-cast underpass’ works to facilitate non-stop traffic movement to Devanahalli International Airport will begin from January 16.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held on Thursday at the Palike commissioner’s office.
“We have decided to complete two underpasses within January 31. Construction of an underpass in Cauvery Junction will begin on January 16, which will be completed on January 19, while the construction works of an underpass near Windsor Manor will begin on January 28 which will be over within January 31,” Palike Commissioner Dr Subrahmanya said.
